restaurant in Lisbon, was the chosen place for the launch of three new Poças wines, Coroa d’Ouro, Poças Reserva white, both from the 2015 harvest and Colheita 2001.
As winemaker Jorge Pintão mentioned, the year allowed to obtain “very balanced juices, because of the mild summer, the maturity was more complete than in 2014". Therefore, both whites are fruity and fresh. These wines quality earned them the distinction of “Boa compra 2016” (2016 best buy) in the August issue of “Revista de Vinhos”
Colheita 2001, from which were bottled the first 10,000 liters, show the tradition of producing top quality Tawnies, "very elegant in the mouth, with walnuts and roasted almonds, honey notes."
